About Berhin Studios

Berhin Studios was founded by Johan Berhin in 2005. Creations range from Industrial Design, as consumer electronics or microscopes (in cooperation with the engineers at JOIN) to furniture. Berhin Studios also produce their own furniture collection - Green Furniture Sweden - eco design with high ambitions both to eco and design.

To keep a front position in green design, Berhin Studios founded the design competition Green Furniture Award in 2008. The competition has become world renown and many of the designs are now produced in the Green Furniture Sweden collection. Many of the winners of the award (five prices handed out 2009 and 2010), have also joined Berhin Studios as freelance designers making an international green team (and adding meaning to the s in studios from for example London, Milano and Adelaide).
